Description
Vintage Kangaroo Small Backpack Camera Case Black Cowhide Leather Musician Collectible Vintage 1970's to 1980's formerly owned by Clifford Coulter, American blues, R&B and jazz singer, guitarist, hammond organ player, and keyboardist. Clifford passed away August 16, 2021. The exterior is black leather with some pebbled areas, interior is very soft fabric suitable for carrying sensitive camera or video equipment. It has two compartments. This rare and interesting backpack case has the outer compartment shaped just like a baseball cap. The inner compartment that would be worn closer to your back if using as a backpack is not as deep. Dimensions: Exterior approx. 7.5" wide x 10" high. Interior approx. 6" wide x 9.5" high The leather straps are adjustable in length with the two snaps. Condition: Shows wear and age, missing a squatchee button (last photo) on the top of the baseball cap shaped area of the exterior showing a wide metal staple. There are some scuffs on the exterior of the leather that could not be remedied with saddle soap. The two compartments have a very soft lining that looks like lint in our photos but is actually a sparkly material, smooth and suitable for camera equipment. All of the zippers work smoothly and the snaps work correctly. The baseball cap shaped compartment is somewhat soft and collapsible, not rigid. There is wear on the black paint on the metal zipper pulls. The case/backpack still has the leather smell. 549000 Lime Green Tag 10.7.6
