This system provides MP3 audio which is stored on a removable USB flash drive that is plugged into the USB hub on the unit. The loading of new audio is easily done by "dragging and dropping" MP3 file(s) from a computer to the USB flash drive. The device also includes on-board (internal) flash memory that can store and play a single audio file. Once the MP3 file is loaded, the USB drive can be unplugged from the unit. The USB 1200 is designed for long-term, reliable audio playback for a business application. Made in the USA. Features MP3 Playback: The USB 1200 is compatible with standard MP3 audio. MP3 bit rates can range from 32 kbps to 256 kbps. No additional software is required when loading MP3 files to the USB drive. Automatic Download: When a USB flash drive is plugged into the 1200, the unit will automatically play and download the MP3 file to the device internal memory.
